Mapparium is a OpenStreetMap viewer for AROS and MorphOS. It supports loading and saving von GPX waypoints and tracks (recorded from a GPS device for example)

This is a really useful program - thanks! I gave it a try and my hometown is showing up fine. One small point - when I'm typing in the search bar I can't see what I'm typing; dots appear at the top and bottom of it so it's trying to render something but as mentioned no actual text. This is on both my Samsung netbook and desktop.

Cheers,
Nigel.

@all

Thanks for the comments, any wishes?

@ntromans:
hmm strange problem, I do not see at any of my AROS installation, I will try to come up with a solution on next Release.

Currently I work on calculating the track height, distance and speed.

Mapparium with height curve and speed curve

Yep: can it "log" or "print" a route description? so you can print in a paper, or write down for somebody to follow

Hi,

Great program, much needed. And standalone so not necessarily requiring the internet all the time.

Like x-vision asks how far can it go as a route planner?

Curious what ideas you are juggling with about adding gps - serial or usb?

Will it always be a viewer? Any plans to add features that allow export back to OSM of collected gps data (ie add to OpenStreetMap?

Jeff
