Find of nigthly build is bugged and useless, i have replaced it with this:

it seems to work better.

what does it mean bugged and useless? i only see that there are problems with compiling nlist class its using with newer compilers, which lead to two independent problems on 68k and x86. (which i have been ablke to find solutions for 68k, not yet for x86). however other than that find worked for me, while testing.

Sorry but for me it does not work, the only component of AROS, at least on the X86 Linux hosted; other works well.

tried now linux hosted i386 both abi v1 and v2 nightlies and couldnt discover anything wrong about find. same as on my local compile. im only aware of problems when compiling with gcc-6.3.0 which isnt relevant here.

Find is very useful here, but buggy yes. I have to keep clicking to cancel many error requesters.

Also the progress bar does not seem to work. (Or a busy spinner would be nice.)

i just confirmed that it basically works as expected. it feels a bit clumsy, thats given, but im not in a position to implement any improvements. im busy enough since days trying to find out why sdl on 68k doesnt correctly detect the sound format and crashes.

I have written some scripts with wich i find and manage files.
This is the best approach for me. The utility linked above works well and is sufficient from gui.

ill have a look at it. maybe it could be added to ports as well, as an option, or even replace the find program, if it is considered broken..

I'm the author of the Find utility. What error messages do you get?

I think it was, memory header not found, but I'll check to make certain.
