I thad a strange idea the last time, let's hear what you think about that.

There were many attempts to port an X-operating system to the Amiga, a real UNIX from the A2500UX and A3000UX, various 68K Linux and some PowerPC-based Linux variants for the BlizzardPPC cards. But none of them was a real success. Now we have AROS, on the Intel platform, and there is Linux everywhere. Now the question: Would it be useful to implement a Linux directly in AROS? I call it ARIX - ARos with Integrateted linuX.

File systems wouldn't be the problem, the typical drawers like bin, sbin, etc, user and so on are not used by an Amiga based system. User privileges and so on are not possible on SFS, but that's maybe not so bad at all, I hate them on my Mac. If they should be used, we have an 80 character file comment, it could be used for access rights and so on. AmigaDOS and ARIX have their own Shell (or Terminal), but a command to use scripts from the other type (launch
