Hi,

I've attached an update to the HD Audio driver for ABIv0. It has improvements to the generic codec query code as well as codec-specific settings for AD1981HD and AD1884.

Unzip it and put it in "SYS:Devs/AHI".

Please check for compatibility regressions as well as improvements.

@sabbate

Thanks for testing. Did it work with any previous versions? Do you know what audio codec chip your EeePC has?

Just to be clear, I think you're saying the previous driver version did not work.

The 82801 is the controller chip. The codec chip is different. It can be found by capturing the debug output from a debug build of the HDAudio driver, or from running a live Linux distro etc.

Then you can use alsamixer to show the name of the codec chip.

That's strange, the ALC662 is supposed to be supported.

Could you try using query mode? Edit ENVARC:hdaudio.config and remove ';' from the first line so that it's just "QUERY", then reboot and retest audio.
