Hi BSzili

Would you please consider porting fs-uae for us? It has evolved nicely the last mounts, and to my knowledge it should be quite portable

james007: I'm not sure about that one. We already have Janus-UAE, and FS-UAE will be re redundant when o1i resumes the work on Janus-UAE 2. Still, if it's very easy to port I'll compile an AROS version later.

serk118uk: Do we have jam to build jamfiles? This game uses those.

Unfortunately it isn't. FS-UAE depends on GLib

First of all i think FS-UAE would be a bit redundant as well. But this dependency makes me wonder.

I read:
Quote:
GLib was released as a separate library so other developers, those who did not make use of the GUI-related portions of GTK+, could make use of the non-GUI portions of the library without the overhead of depending on a full-blown GUI library.

And here i see:
Quote:
This port of GLib for AROS was done for the GTK-MUI
wrapper and is a nearly complete port of GLib.
Things missing/not working are timers and all
fork based functions. Timers are implented
in GTK-MUI, the process spawn functions are
not used/ported/implemented anywhere so far.

So, can you use that BSzili ?

regards,

Good

Just in case you are reading too fast :

You can get the sources of this GLib port at the CVS of
http://sourceforge.net/projects/gtk-mui/

I think if you have to add missing functionality that is needed (for the port) that Oliver would be happy as well (its a bit old also)
