Dr. Michal Schulz has completed the porting of AROS to x86_64. Expect to see AROS64, with limited memory protection and grub loading modules, on nightly ISOs in the very near future on aros.org. Dr. Schulz will be working on porting the AROS32's contrib section to AROS64 plus a new kernel for his next project.

AROS64 has been covered in the (Amiga) news.

Would it be possible that those with more knowledge answer the doubts that might arise regarding AROS64?
What limited protection actually means, what benifits 64 has over 32, etc...

We live in interesting times, that's for sure...
