Re: AROS shown in The Linux Action Show
I just watched the show. "Strange" guys but at least some publicity. Brangelina would be happy about that. To what it comes down at the end: a) it's ugly (really ugly) b) you can only use it for fun (play old games and browse a bit on the web)
@ b) I guess this will never change. Amigans just want to play. Serious applications were and are always missing. I don't think this will ever change. @ a) More improvements on Zune would be really necessary to make a better impress to foreign users like these two guys.

Re: AROS shown in The Linux Action Show
a) You can configure almost every aspect of Zune. It's true default Zune config is very basic, that's what should be improved

Re: AROS shown in The Linux Action Show
It is not about replacing images and patterns. MUI3.8 is old. Zune is younger but not even up-to-date with MUI3.8. Why is it still so? And Zune contains many simple but evil bugs. Did you ever try replacing colours or images and then change window sizes? You get so ugly bugs to see that you want to run away. Just play around with the MUI prefs window. You get buttons writing into areas where they do not have to. You get elements overlapped with others. You get wrong colours almost everywhere. Even if Zune was on-level with MUI3.8 it would be outdated. Even MUI4 lacks so many things that it can hardly be viewed as "modern". So don't think just because you can swap some icons your GUI is up-to-date.
