Hi folks,

The Recursion 2014 Computer Science Fair will take place on Friday 14 and Saturday 15 February 2014 at King Edward Vi School, Stratford-upon-Avon, England.

Friday will be dedicated to promoting Computer Science and related industries to students as degree and career options.

Saturday will be a fun-packed day, open to the public. In addition to stands from industry leaders such as IBM and Blitz Games Studio, there will be a MASSIVE area dedicated to retro and class computing, with user-groups from all the key players and favourite old-timers, from Amiga through to Oric and on to ZX81.

So here's an open invite to all Amiga, AROS and MorphOS fans. Come and join us!

If you'd like to attend as a user-group, company or as an individual, drop us an email. There is no cost to exhibitors

I'd be particularly keen to have someone give a demo of AROS and help out with installing AROS to a set of Raspberry Pi boards.

More info at : Recursion Open Invite and at the Recursion 2014 Website

We look forward to seeing you on the 15 Feb!

PS: KES is "Shakespeare's School" and our historic buildings (including the Bard's classroom) will be open on the day and there is loads to do in Stratford for your non-computery other halves...

 Re: Recursion 2014 Computer Fair
Stratford is pretty close to us so I think I should be able to go along to represent AROS in the Saturday (Friday is a work day, I'm afraid). I'll need to get back up to date though - lots of 'real world' commitments over the last few months haven't left too much time to tinker with setups, and I don't think I've updated my copies of the OS since before the summer. My DVD writer being on the fritz hasn't helped either...

Cheers,
Nigel.

@ntromans

It'd be good to see you there - I'm hoping to promote AROS/AEROS to a lot of Raspberry Pi users during the fair. If you bring along your kit, you could update it "live"!

Richard

Hi Richard,
Look forward to seeing you there. I've just persuaded my DVD writer to finally work again (had to use a RW disc),and I'm just in the process of trying the experimental version of Icaros (WIP 4), I might be back up to date for the show!

Cheers,
Nigel.
