With the astonishing response from Amiga community the target amount of money for the Poseidon USB Bounty has been reached. I'm extremely happy to see this, but what I'm equally happy is to see that the donations were coming from every part of the community, be it AmigaOS, MorphOS or AROS users. Thank you :)

As can be seen on Power2People ( bottom of page) Stanislaw Szymczyk accepted the 'Port an Open Source Browser To AROS' bounty with the deadline of March 1st 2009.

Stanislaw Szymczyk has been working on AROS self-compilation since April. In September he was officially assigned to AROS Self-Compiling bounty. Now he created an experimental live CD allowing to compile AROS, Perl and Python on AROS. Only compilation in RAM Disk is possible at the moment due to issues with soft links handling.

As can be seen on http://www.power2people.org/projects.html Michal Schulz accepted the USB Mass Storage bounty. This functionality is needed to continue with his Efika bounty, but for sure it will be a big gain for i386 native AROS. Please support the bounty at http://www.power2people.org/bounty_025.html
